Shameful

She stayed instead
But should have fled
His voice led her astray.

Her cheeks burned red
At what he’d said.
She blushed and looked away.

She tasted dread
Her heart he’d shred
She saw she was his prey.

He turned his head
Her heartbeat sped
His will she would obey.
